Message: This is the second time we have had building work by LC Construction, the first being a two-storey extension some years ago when Paul and his team did a superb job, especially constructing the roof to blend in with the existing style. We have now had a kitchen extension, and again what they have done is fantastic. Every aspect was covered again, from the foundations through to the roof, electrics and plumbing, and at each step it was discussed with us what was being done. Typical of their thoughtful approach is that they planned the work for minimal disruption, such as only breaking through to the existing house at the latest possible point. The work is to a very high standard, such as really neat brickwork and careful matching to existing. They are completely reliable and were always punctual when arriving in the morning and left everything tidy each day.
They delivered exactly what they promised, and whenever there was a possibly better way of doing something they would suggest it. We can't speak highly enough of the way they work and what they do, and wouldn't have anyone else, even if it means waiting a while!

Paul and his team came highly recommended to us through a friend. Having been completely clueless about the building trade in general, we set out initially to get quotes. After meeting with various builders we decided that not only was L C construction the best value, but we warmed to Paul the most, seeing the most personable. From then on working with Paul and his team was a pleasure. They bent over backwards trying to achieve what we wanted, which was essentially a reasonably large double side extension. But Paul, Connor and the others did much more than just do the extension. They did little jobs here and there which was outside their job remit to be honest (eg plumbing our washing machine in the shed so we could use it), sometimes taking up their own time. Communication was great, and we could always get hold of them when we needed them. They approached the work causing us the least disruption, and they were very considerate on clearing up the mess and keeping the noise down where possible. The work was done in stages too and the financials were easy to follow. I shall use LC construction again for any future projects and would highly recommended them to anyone. I shall send a photo set once the house is rendered for Paul to add to his portfolio. Thank you guys we really appreciated all the graft and happy faces we saw every day!

Paul and his family team came highly recommended by a neighbour whose extension they recently built
Our problem was a collapsing 1930's brick built garage roof, the gable ends of which were leaning like they would fall at the slightest breath of wind! Rather than taking the easier route of new concrete tiles and less woodwork, Paul suggested re-using the existing 'Rosemary' type clay tiles to match those on the house. We were impressed by the way Paul carefully dismantled the gable ends and reassembled them on the ground to preserve a distinctive pattern in the brickwork. The re-used tiles were carefully cleaned before being replaced on the new timbers. With the lining and the new woodwork the garage roof now looks better than the house! Overall an excellent and impressive job.
We can unhesitatingly recommend Paul and his family team who are conscientious and hardworking, and can be trusted to do a really top job at a fair and competitive price.

I can not speak highly enough of Paul, Connor, Ryan and all the other members of Paul’s team. Professional, courteous, hard working and they do a top notch job.
Paul will always get back to you and the patience he has shown during the period we have been massively let down by a 3rd party company (no affiliation to Paul and LC Construction) has been a godsend.
When we decided to have our extension built, I spent many months researching, trying to find a builder to carry out the work. As soon as I met Paul, I knew that I could trust him to deliver, and I was right.
We are delighted with our new living space and will look no further when it comes to having further work carried out.

Recommended by several satisfied friends and neighbours locally plus really impressed with Paul Bailey's honesty, clarity of explanation and the standard of his work which we have viewed at several of his projects. Costings were well explained and clear and Paul was very up front about timings and duration of the work specified plus what was and was not included in prices. Paul, his son and nephew (all qualified builders) are an effective and hardworking team, reliable and flexible to customer demands and with a "can do" approach to a project. We have recommended Paul to various people some of whom we know others that have simply passed our house and commented on how great our improvements look. We are very happy to recommend Paul and the LC Construction team to anyone but please be patient - they are so good that they are in great demand! The wait will be worth it!

Paul undertook a one storey rear and two storey side extension, and carried out alterations to the first floor of my property. He has been absolutely fantastic, absolutely brilliant. I have employed Paul Bailey on three occasions: To take out part of a wall involving structural drawings with additional foundations and the creation of a new load bearing pillar whilst supporting the building above. Paul’s expertise enabled him to spot an error in the engineer’s drawing! A major landscaping project involving the excavation and removal of over 400 tonnes of soil; levelling and building foundations for an extensive design of double retaining walls, slopes, steps, flower beds patios and two driveways. Creating an en suite by removing walls; new openings, adapting main drains, and building stud walls and re-plastering. This involved Paul in project managing a variety of trades and building control officers. Paul has always been totally honest, reliable and fair. He is a methodical and tidy worker. He works hard and takes pride in his work and has very high standards. He always looks at a job from the customer’s point of view and tries to find ways of saving them money but will never cut corners if it means sacrificing the quality of his work or his integrity as a master builder. Paul is both polite and friendly and always respects the fact that he is in someone else’s home. He is totally honest and trustworthy and can be trusted with house keys and even to feed the dog! LC Construction was recommended to us by friends who had been very impressed with the extension Paul and team had completed on their house.
1st impressions were of a friendly approachable outfit who professionally and competitively priced our large extension project.
LC Construction commenced work on our house in September 2106. Throughout the project the standard of work and attention to detail were exemplary. No problem was insurmountable and Paul was easily accessible and helpful in dealing with any issues that arose in a timely and professionalism manner.
Our project was completed in 8 months, it involved demolition, reconfiguration, completely new roof, two storey and one storey wrap around extension. Whist this was undertaken we remain in residence and at one point the back of the house was removed. At no point did it feel unusable, we had temporary partition walls, the kitchen was removed on a daily basis, this was only possible due to LC Construction commitment to the project.
Professionalism, integrity, work ethic and excellent standards are clearly the central ethos at LC construction and we are totally delighted with the quality of the end result that has transformed our family living. We can't recommend LC Construction highly enough.
